The Gold Coast Oceanway
There is a network of pathways along the beaches of the coast. It ranges up to 4 km long and is popular with cyclists and walkers.  Another one is Point Danger Lighthouse in the south Gold Coast and Seaway in the north. A perfect place to do cycling while getting fresh air.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary
Take in your adventure side at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, you can also feed the wild lorikeets for free. Hold a bowl full of sweet honey nectar in your hands to get that licked by Lorikeets. They (lorikeets) also climb up your arms, on your head, or may sit on your hand only just to sip that nectar. A worth-visit to see these beautiful birds.
National Park
While hinterland and National Parks offers lovely walks, you can admire these national parks while walking around the areas.

Burleigh Heads National Park:  Get a glimpse of sunrise before you move ahead to walk at=round the headland.

Federation Walk: Walk around a 3.5 km pedestrian walkway at the northern end of the Gold Coast Oceanway.

Springbrook National Park: This National Park has Purling Brook Falls walking track circuit, the Natural Bridge Rainforest Circuit, Canyon lookouts, and Twin Falls walk to walk around.

Lamington National Park: You will find many walking trails from short walks to all day hikes, here.

Coolangatta to Point Dangar: A great little coastal walk from Green mount and Rainbow Bay, along with the sunset views, that are as magical as you see.

Tamborine Mountain: The third oldest National Park in the world with 12 walking tracks, each one is no longer than 3 kilometers. Enjoy!

The Oceanway: Here you can walk one of the sections each day, instead of cycling.

The Gold Coast Beaches
Keep yourself feel free and fresh at Gold Coast beaches that are speckled along the pristine coastline at a stretch of 57 kilometers.

These beaches are also renowned for its world’s most famous surf breaks. But you don’t have to be a surfer to enjoy these beaches, lay on the white sand, soak up some sun, play on the grasslands, playgrounds or even take a pleasant meal at BBQs, there.

You need to pack some things before you go out on the beaches such as - Sunshade/beach umbrella, sunscreen, towels, hats, rashies, water, snacks, sunglasses, bucket & spades, to enjoy the waters.

Point Danger, Greenmount, Kirra Hill, Currumbin Rocks, Tumgun Lookout within Burleigh Heads National Park, North Burleigh/Miami headland, are some of the viewpoints to see whales.

Sunrise and Sunset
What if you start your day with watching the sun rises over the ocean. Go ahead with the day by sitting and get mesmerized by the sun rays shining on you.

You can view it from Burleigh Point or can eat at nearby cafes like Rainbow Bay Surf Club.
