history in Bali.
Bali has some museums
and parks along the seaside to fascinate you with its look and charming
retainer of history.
Here, you can also shop for different artifacts which will connect you more with the history of Bali for
long.
To name a few, we have mentioned two famous museums of the city. Check out –
Le Mayeur Museum
This museum has its old long story that includes - Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres, who traveled the whole world and while travelling, he fell in love with a Balinese
woman named – Ni Pollok. He was a great artist, and
after his success in the art world, he built a home that was stunning. Then in
1958, after his demise, Ni Pollok converted their home into the Le Mayeur
Museum and continued to live there while managing the art exhibitions until
1985.
As of now, the house remains to be a museum that showcases a
selection of works by Le Mayeur. It also displays a collection of artifacts
connected to the traditional Balinese art.
Bali Museum
Bali Museum is situated
in the heart of Denpasar which offers an
excellent overview of the Balinese history. It is also renowned with a
name of Denpasar Museum or Museum Negeri Propinsi Bali.
So, we would like to suggest you not spending pennies on a
guided tour instead use it in a better way like planning on spending some extra
time to figure out things on your own.
